For the last 36 years, Dr. Strobel has been a favorite among students and peers. He has sponsored international electives through the medical school in universities around the world, and is the founder of the Medical Professionalism Orientation Retreat – a program focused on welcoming first-year medical students and relationship building with all medical students and faculty to help them through the medical school years ahead. He is the first Ph.D. recipient of the TIAA-CREF Distinguished Medical Educator Award.
